About Us

We are a registered Association incorporated as a company limited by guarantee, having complied with the requirement under the Companies Act, No 7 of 2007 by the Registrar General of Companies. The Association of Professional Coaches was established on 20th June 2018 with the vision to nurture Sri Lankan Coaches towards Global Coaching Standards.

Introduction

The importance of coaching in nurturing an individual’s potential has led to a growing coaching profession in Sri Lanka, with several professionals receiving certification from international bodies such as the International Coaching Federation (ICF). The growing number of coaching professionals in Sri Lanka, in fields ranging from business to life has necessitated a platform for coaches to share experience, sharpen skills, network and collaborate for further progress.

Coaching is a journey not a destination and a coach is by nature a vision builder and a value shaper. Coming together as one group would assist all those who are passionate and enthusiastic to continue their coaching journey to unlock the greater potential of the people by maximizing their own performance. With a mission to inspire positive change through professional coaching, the APC is geared towards facilitating fellow coaches and aspiring coaches to continue their journey and to deepen their knowledge and skills through shared stories.

APC invites all enthusiastic fellow coaches and those who are aspiring to unlock the potential of people to join hands to build a better career.
